Meet the Team
Founder & Head Trainer
Ryan Kerr
Off the ice I was one of the hardest workers! However, my training lacked direction. I found myself working on the things I was already good at and overlooking the things I was not. I was working out, rather than training. At 18, I was riddled with injuries. At the time I thought it was the worst thing that could have happened to me, but now it's played a major part in how I look at training.
Trainer
Mike Moloney
Coming from Australia, sport was always a huge part of my life. When my professional rugby career was cut short due to injuries, I developed a passion for rehabilitation and injury prevention. I focus on using intentional and disciplined training to improve my clients’ performance and longevity. I joined the team at RK4 for their values and training philosophies which are closely aligned with my own. B.Sc. Exercise and Sport Science.
Trainer
Jack Tadey
Hockey has always been a big part of my life growing up on the North Shore. Playing for North Van Minor, NW Giants, and finishing with the North Van Wolfpack. I take pride in preparation which naturally developed a desire for strength and conditioning. I joined RK4 for its culture and I believe my hard work and passion complement the foundation Ryan has built. UBCO - human kinetics.
Trainer
Adam Gerbrecht
Adam was born and raised in Deep Cove, playing rep hockey at North Shore Winter Club throughout his childhood. At 16, he left the sport behind to focus on stand-up paddle board (SUP) racing, and his academic goals. He competed at a high level in SUP racing, winning numerous Canadian titles, and he continues to compete in the sport internationally, while attending UBC for Human Kinetics. His athletic success, coupled with academic achievements, led him to his passion of performance coaching, and athlete development.
